Grit and resilience are capabilities which can be developed within individuals from all backgrounds and walks of life. In this workshop we’ll introduce participants to some of the fundamentals, practical tools and tactics they can immediately invest in to build their grit and resilience capabilities.
SELF-LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
4-HOUR WORKSHOP
Grit, resilience and mental toughness are the result of a number of factors:
● An understanding and commitment to our authentic sense of purpose;
● Living in alignment with our personal values;
● A proactive and optimistic attitude and approach to life;
● Commitment and discipline to embrace challenge as and when it arrives;
● A strong support network of friends and family;
● Security in the fundamentals of life (health, finances, relationships etc.)
Taking proactive responsibility for all of these things is what we call Self Leadership.
In this interactive, deep-dive workshop, we take participants through a process which allows them to build out a Self Leadership Plan for themselves, outlining a series of tools, tactics and approaches that can support their ongoing grit and resilience. As such, this workshop is ideal for organisations and teams looking to support their people in developing a long-term approach to mental health and wellbeing.

It’s no secret that men aren’t the greatest at discussing some of the challenges they may be facing in life. However, we know that by having someone else start the conversation for them – by sharing their own stories – it can make things a little easier. Our network of speakers and presenters have all been directly affected by mental health challenges and use their experience to support others in finding the comfort to reach out for help when needed, as well as providing insights into how we can all better help those who need it.
